As CEO of KAB Marketing, Ken brings more than 30 years of retail marketing experience to his consulting and presentations business, where he specializes in helping companies develop effective brand strategies. A retail marketing executive for over 30 years, Ken most recently was the Executive Vice President-Account Management Director for Doner, one of the country’s largest advertising agencies, based in Southfield, MI., His experience includes senior marketing positions with companies such as PetsMart, Circuit City, Eckerd Drugs, Dayton Hudson, Levitz Furniture, Fahlgren Benito Advertising, SinoFresh, and Procter & Gamble.
Ken is a graduate of Wayne State University in Detroit with a BS in Marketing, and has his master’s degree from the Thunderbird Graduate School for International Management in Phoenix. He has served on the advisory boards at both Texas A&M and the University of Florida. Ken is an adjunct professor of marketing in the graduate studies department at Schiller International University, and has been a Retail Advertising and Marketing Association (RAMA) board member since 1990.
Winner of numerous industry awards and author and contributor of several articles and books including Marketing Magic from Insight Publishing, Ken has been honored with the American Advertising Federation’s Silver Medal award and by being inducted into the Retail Advertising Hall of Fame by the Retail Advertising and Marketing Association. He is a member of the National Speakers Association.
